What separates the athletes who make it onto the podium from those who do not?
Mental Toughness
We believe that every athlete has the potential to show up as the best version of themselves daily in practice and competition. Our approach is centered around helping athletes to cultivate self-awareness, identify their values and goals, and create actionable steps towards achieving them. We are committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for athletes to explore their mindset and work towards their desired outcomes.
We offer a range of coaching services, including Mental Toughness Workshops for Individual athletes and athletic teams, Parent Educational workshops, Coaches workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions. Our areas of expertise include not only giving athletes, parents and coaches the tools they need, but to also ensure they have the roadmap to execute.
Mental Toughness is an internal attribute that determines an athlete's ability to perform consistently under pressure, it is related to one's character, their resilience, grit and perseverance. When athletes define who they are and where they want to go, they set the stage for success. Learning and refining mental toughness skills prepares athletes to excel in practice, games/competition, or in contributing to team outcomes.

Following the stages of learning, athletes who are exposed to Mental Toughness principles and best practices will LEARN, spend time to practice and acquire SKILLS, and gain MASTERY after applying those skills in different environments. Mental Toughness is comprised of 4 key elements that athletes acquire through exercises and homework:
1. Challenge
2. Control
3. Commitment
4. Confidence
As a sports parent, it can be very frustrating to see your athlete confidently execute in practice and then struggle to play or perform consistently when it counts. Many parents ask, “How do I get them to change their thinking or stay more focused in practice?” or "How can I help them to get out of their head?"
What beliefs and thoughts are guiding your athlete?
Do you hope that your athlete can figure out how to improve their mindset and motivation on their own?
Speaking to your athlete about their internal thoughts and emotions around their sport can be difficult for parents to tackle.
In our Individual Athlete Group workshops and Team workshops we cover key areas:

While working with athletes in a variety of sports, many have self-talk that often slows their progress:
"I can't make a mistake"
"I feel really stressed when I come up to the plate"
"What if I miss the shot?"
"I don't want to let my team down"
"If I can't do it perfectly, I will be a failure"
"It is so much pressure when everyone is watching me"
"Don't screw up"
"I really suck when it counts"
"I don't want to look stupid"
~"Choke" on competition/ test day or game day
~Lose focus in practice, competition or games
~Are unclear why they play or perform better on some days
~Get very nervous on competition/game day causing a disruption in their timing and muscle tightness
~Experience fleeting confidence and motivation levels
~Are not sure what to think in critical moments
~Have a hard time dealing with difficult emotions
